  A field training programme was arranged for Guava growers at Kottekallur Tq. Degloor, during this Dr. Santosh Chavan SMS (Horticulture) explained the scientific way of training and pruning in guava to establish a strong framework of plant. The farmers were demonstrated on how the plants on the field are pruned.

The vaccination program for animals in the vicinity was organized on 25th & 26th July 2020. 20 animals from KVK farm & 80 animals across the Sagroli village were vaccinated against HS and BQ.  Ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic situation, vaccination at an individual farmer's place was done to avoid further risk of crowding and exposure to COVID 19 to the farmers.  This HS and BQ vaccination will prevent animals from Hemorrhagic Septicemia (HS) a highly fatal, hemorrhagic disease of cattle and buffalo caused by Pasteurella Multocida and Black Quarter (BQ) an acute, an infectious disease caused by Clostridium Chauvoei which are prone to happen in the rainy season. Farmers were also advised for deworming, care, and management to maintain reproductive health.

  A Training program on Vegetable Nutrition Gardening for Nutritional Security at Household Level was organized by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sagroli Tq. Biloli Dist. Nanded. It was hosted by the Dept of Home Science on 19/8/2020.  The problem of malnutrition & anemia among women & children is widely observed across the globe especially in India & the Indian Sub-Continent.  Primarily hard-working or farm working women have to bear the extreme pressure of work in & out of their homes due to insufficient nutritional food supplements which can be easily made available to them through vegetables.   21 extension functionaries working under UMED abhiyan, MSRLM for 17 villages in Tq Biloli attended the training.  The participants were enlightened with detailed information about the types of nutrition vegetable gardens & organic treatment at the household level.   They were also given the actual organic pest control demonstration along with the ppt presentation.
